Welcome to the NERD Power Hour. So now you are here and you are wondering, "what is this?" You may have been invited under a pretense that this was going to be a organized group to under go some sort of specific project or activity. Though there will be projects and activities, that is not the true intention of this group.

Once upon a time, many of us hung out together at school, at work or at a friends house. During this time together, we would play video games, make videos, draw pictures, discuss quantum mechanics and mispronounce potentiometer. As our education and our careers take us in varying directions we sometimes look back and miss those days that we had with each other.

Many of us can not continue to pursue continuous personal interaction. Some of have children, some of us still live under their parent's domain, some live out of state, some live just far enough away that their long commute home is already painful enough to deter them from participating. They are all valid reasons to discourage upholding the friendships and whatever activities that come from it.

This is about dedicating one hour a week with the people who have made a memorable timestamp in our hearts and mind. We are leveraging what technology has brought forth so that regardless of whatever physical restrictions exist, that we may still share enjoyable and memorable moments in the time to come.
